含硼轻材料屏蔽14.1 MeV中子的实验研究
Radiation-Shielding Effects of the B_4C+(CH_2)_n to D-T Neutron

摘要: 在零功率堆中子衰变常数(α常数)瞬态测量实验时,必须进行本底中子的屏蔽。利用理论计算和实验测定的方法,得到含B4C聚乙烯对D-T中子的屏蔽效果,并在此基础上,设计了探测屏蔽系统用于α常数的瞬态测量实验。测量结果与系统设计值相符,测量数据的信噪比与理论计算结果相吻合。Abstract: It is necessary to shield the background neutron during the measurements of neutron decay constant on the zero power assembly.Based on the numerical calculation and experiment measurement,the radiation-shielding effects of the B_(4)C +(CH_(2))_n material to D-T neutron are gained.Using the results,detecting shielding system was designed for measuring the prompt neutron decay constant α of the zero-power assembly.The measurement result is agree with the design value.The signal-to-noise ratio(9∶1) of the neutron decay constant is similar to the numerical calculation(7.5∶1).
