Preparation of C Stripping Foil With “U-Like” Shape Frame Double Layer Structure

  • 摘要: 本研究涉及用于兰州重离子加速器冷却储存环上的碳剥离膜的制备方法。该剥离膜采用特殊的U形靶框和双层结构,使膜的强度大为加强,以提高高真空条件下剥离膜使用寿命。采用碳弧法制备的剥离膜的有效面积较大,为10 cm2,质量厚度约为150 μg/cm2。碳剥离膜的X衍射谱测试结果表明,膜上的碳以非晶体石墨形式存在。

     

    Abstract: Preparation process of C stripping foil used for the beam injection to Heavy Ion Research Facility at Lanzhou-Cooler Storage Ring was studied. The prepared C stripping foil was attached to a “U-like” shape frame with a double layer structure to increase the strength of stripping foil. The prepared C foil had an effective area of 10 cm2 and the average thickness of 150 μg/cm2. The foil has a relatively long lifetime, and can be used in the ultra-high vacuum environments. The result from X-ray diffraction shows that the carbon in the stripping foil occurs as amorphous graphite.
