Performance Test of CaS:Ce,Sm Material Related to Optically Stimulated Luminescence Dosimeter

  • 摘要: 本工作对光致荧光材料CaS:Ce,Sm的辐射剂量特性进行研究。利用60Co γ源对CaS:Ce,Sm/PMMA剂量片进行辐照,应用自行搭建的测试系统对剂量片发出的荧光信号进行测试。测试结果表明,CaS:Ce,Sm材料是短余辉材料,环境温度对材料性能影响显著,在0.1~100 Gy内,荧光信号峰值强度与辐照剂量线性关系良好。

     

    Abstract: The radiation dose characteristics of optically stimulated luminescence material CaS:Ce,Sm is researched. The CaS:Ce,Sm/PMMA dosimeter sheet was irradiated by a 60Co γ-radiation source, and the fluorescence signal from dosimeter sheet was measured with the test system built by ourselves. The result indicates that CaS:Ce,Sm is short afterglow material and the influence of environment temperature on the material is very obvious. The intensity of fluorescence signal peak value and the adsorbed dose have a good linear relation in the scope of 0.1-100 Gy.
