Abstract: The paper introduces the hardware and software design characters of automatic power controller in Tianwan Nuclear Power Plant. According to the analysis on system operation mode and system failure mode, the paper discusses the availability and reliability of automatic power controller in Tianwan Nuclear Power Plant and points out that it satisfies single failure principle.
