Preparation System of Quasi-single Energy Gamma Radioactive Source on Xi’an Pulse Reactor

  • 摘要: γ射线及中子探测器的γ能谱响应曲线标定实验需用能量范围为100~2 700 keV的系列准单能γ射线源。本文主要介绍利用西安脉冲堆的跑兔辐照系统制备系列准单能γ射线源的方法,讨论样品辐照的影响因素,并给出样品活度测量中干扰核素影响的扣除方法。最后给出低、高强度源的HPGe γ谱仪和剂量仪活度测量方法。

     

    Abstract: In order to calibrate the gamma spectrum response curves for gamma and neutron detection, a series of quasi-single energy gamma radioactive sources with energy range from 100 to 2 700 keV must be used in the experiments. The paper mainly concerns in the method of preparation of quasi-single energy gamma radioactive serial source by using the fast rabbit irradiation system on Xi’an pulse reactor. The influencing factors in irradiation process were discussed, and the solutions for reducing influencing factors were separately given for different irradiated samples. The measuring means of activity were introduced for irradiated samples with high and low radioactive source respectively, and the self-absorption coefficients of all measured samples were calculated.
