Abstract:
Under different conditions whether the structural integrity of the variable area flowmeter can be ensured was demonstrated. In the paper, using the finite element analysis software ANSYS, the model on measurable part of the variable area flowmeter was built and modified. Utilizing the calculation results, the stress assessment of the variable area flowmeter was carried out strictly according to the RCC-M codes. And it shows that measurable part of variable area flowmeter is satisfied with the requirement of RCC-M.
