Abstract:
Based on the philosophy of systematic aging management of IAEA and aging management methodology of USNRC which features with the license renewal as core, the elements to be considered in the development of an aging management program (AMP) for reactor pressure vessel were systematically described in the paper. From the view of regulation and code system, fundamental requirements for component aging management, main aging mechanism analysis, documentation system review and adaptation of two kinds of aging management modes, the main aspects related to the development of reactor pressure vessel AMP were comprehensively represented. A typical example of the component AMP was provided as an engineering application.
