Abstract:
133Cs were irradiated with 47 MeV/u
12C ions, and the production cross sections of iodine isotopes in
133Cs +
12C reaction were obtained by a combination of the radiochemical separation technique and off-line γ-ray spectroscopy. It was found that the production cross sections of neutron-rich isotopes for iodine show an exponential dependence on the
Qgg values. The independent production cross sections deviate from this linear dependence in the case of neutron-deficient isotopes of iodine. The fact may explain that neutron-rich isotopes of iodine were produced in the deep inelastic transfer processes.
