Efficiency Simulation of Atmospheric Particle Filter Sample

  • 摘要: 在简要介绍全面禁止核试验条约(CTBT)组织临时技术秘书处(PTS)组织的2003年度大气颗粒物样品国际比对的基础上,对此次比对活动中使用的高纯锗探测器系统、样品几何形状和屏蔽情况进行了详细描述。采用蒙特卡罗程序模拟计算了高纯锗探测器测量滤材样品条件下的峰效率和总效率,模拟计算结果与PTS提供的参考值分别在3.5%和6.5%内符合,为准确定量分析样品中核素的含量奠定了基础。

     

    Abstract: Based on the process of 2003 Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT) intercomparison of atmospheric particle filter sample that organized by the organization, the structure of HPGe detector and the geometry of sample used in the comparison were described in detail. The peak efficiency and total efficiency of the filter sample were simulated by using the MCNP. The simulation results are agreed with referenced values in 3.5% and 6.5%, respectively. This work makes quantitative analysis of sample more accurate.
