Abstract:
The plane-parallel ionization chamber with 0.055 cm3 sensitive volume was developed for measuring the dose of proton in 10-40 MeV and its characteristics were studied. The electrodes of chamber were arranged in parallel and made of carbon. Making use of laser-erosion, the annular groove was carved between guard ring and collecting electrode. In order to reduce the manufacture difficulty and avoid the conventional mode of cable arrangement, a new technique was adopted to weld on the aperture which was gilt.
