Signal Simulation of Transverse Field Gas Ionization Chamber

摘要: 本文利用Geant4、Garfield和Magboltz程序模拟了横向场气体电离室的输出信号。通过比较模拟与实验结果,检验了模拟的可靠性。同时,通过模拟得出了不同工作气体对信号输出幅度的影响,其中,产生的信号幅度最大的气体为C4H10,这为以后改进此类电离室提供了理论依据。Abstract: The output signal of a transverse field gas ionization chamber was simulated by Geant4, Garfield and Magboltz codes. The validity of the simulations was checked by comparing the results of simulation and experiment. In addition, the influence of various gases on the output signal’s amplitude was studied, and the maximum amplitude was obtained with C4H10 among these gases. This simulation is a good theory tool for improving ionization chamber in the future.
