基于γ能谱特征峰测定铀矿石样品铀-镭平衡系数

Determination of Uranium-Radium Equilibrium Coefficient of Uranium Ore Sample Using Characteristic Peaks in γ-ray Spectrum

  • 摘要: 在铀矿勘探中,了解铀系平衡状况对储量评价十分重要。本文分析了利用γ能谱中的特征峰测定铀-镭平衡系数的原理,研究了通过铀矿石的高分辨率多道γ能谱中1 001.03 keV谱峰和934.06 keV谱峰分别推算238U、226Ra的含量并以此计算铀镭平衡系数的数学过程。开展了铀矿模型测量实验,实验结果验证了该方法的可行性,可应用于铀矿γ测井勘探工作中。

     

    Abstract: It is important to acquire the equilibrium feature of uranium series for the estimation of reserves in uranium exploration. The theory of direct determination of uranium-radium equilibrium coefficient in the uranium ore by the γ characteristic radiation peaks in the multichannel γ-ray spectrum was analyzed. The procedure was researched for the determination of radioisotopes content of 238U according to the 1 001.03 keV peak, 226Ra according to the 934.06 keV peak and assessing the degree of uranium-radium equilibrium in natural uranium ore by measuring its high-resolution multichannel γ-ray spectrum. To study the possibility of such a procedure, the γ-ray spectra of four models of ore strata were measured. Results of the experimentation indicate that this method can be applied to the exploration of uranium resource by γ-ray logging.
