碳纳米管-环糊精复合材料对Eu(Ⅲ)的吸附

Adsorption of Eu(Ⅲ) Onto Composite Material of Multiwall Carbon Nanotubes-β-Cyclodextrin

  • 摘要: 在等离子体条件下用有机大分子材料环糊精对碳纳米管进行功能化处理,制备出一种新的放射性核素吸附材料,即碳纳米管-环糊精复合材料。实验研究了pH、时间、离子强度对该材料吸附Eu(Ⅲ)的影响。该材料对废水中Eu(Ⅲ)的吸附速率快,吸附率在95%以上,通过吸附方程推算得到对Eu(Ⅲ)的最大吸附量可达约80 mg/g,废水中其它离子及浓度对Eu(Ⅲ)的吸附无明显影响。

     

    Abstract: β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) was grafted on multiwall carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) by using plasma techniques. The new material of MWCNT-β-CD composites can adsorb radionuclides quickly. Effects of pH, contact time and ionic strength on the adsorption of Eu(Ⅲ) to MWCNT-β-CD composites were investigated. The results indicate that the sorption of Eu(Ⅲ) from aqueous solution is fast and more than 95% Eu(Ⅲ) is adsorbed to MWCNTβCD composites. The adsorption capacity of MWCNT-β-CD composites is about 80 mg/g for Eu(Ⅲ) calculated from the adsorption isotherms. Other ions and their concentrations have no obvious effect on adsorption of Eu(Ⅲ) onto composite material of MWCNT-β-CD.
