Abstract: The front-end electronics and data acquisition system is a compact set of NIM and PCI boards with a PC. The system is a part of an explosive inspection system based on the tagged neutrons technique. The front-end electronics processes all detector signals and checks coincidence between any alpha particle detector and any gamma-ray detector controlled by computer. Some typical applications are presented.
