启明星2#反应堆临界运行方式的堆芯物理方案初步研究

Primary Neutronics Research on Venus 2# Reactor Operating in Critical Mode

  • 摘要: 本工作提出利用中国先进研究堆乏燃料组件构造既能在加速器驱动下次临界运行,也能临界运行的启明星2#反应堆堆芯方案。采用MVP-BURN蒙特卡罗燃耗程序,对反应堆临界运行方式下的堆芯方案进行了优化选择,给出了优选方案的核特性参数。

     

    Abstract: This paper carried out the primary scheme research on Venus 2# reactor which was configured by China Advanced Research Reactor (CARR) spent fuel assemblies. The reactor is a dual purpose reactor which can operate in either subcritical mode (ADS mode) or critical mode. Based on the MVP-BURN Monte-Carlo depletion code, the schemed core was optimized by the calculation and analysis. The main nuclear parameters of reactor core were calculated for the optimized core.
