时间关联符合法探测铀部件质量实验研究

Measurement on Mass of Uranium Metal by Time Correlation Coincidence Method

  • 摘要: 采用252Cf源中子诱发金属铀部件裂变的主动探测方法对铀部件质量识别进行探索,实验测量了3.8~15.2 kg 8件高浓缩铀部件的源中子与探测器的互相关函数谱C12(τ),互相关函数谱积分值R12随铀部件质量有明显的变化规律。当铀部件质量为3.8~7.2 kg时,质量灵敏系数为8.5%;铀部件质量为7.2~15.2 kg时,质量灵敏系数为11.0%。

     

    Abstract: The source detector correlation functions of eight uranium metal with mass range from 3.8 to 15.2 kg were measured by 252Cf source induced fission analysis method. The integral of correlation functions evidently increases with fissile mass. The sensitivity coefficient of mass is 8.5% and 11.0% as the uranium mass is from 3.8 to 7.2 kg and from 7.2 to 15.2 kg, respectively.
