Abstract:
When high energy X-ray irradiates material, it will cause energy deposition in materials, and generates thermal shock wave. At present, finite difference method is used to the numerical simulation of thermal shock usually, but if considering the interspace between the multilayer materials, the difference method will be more difficult. This paper used the SPH method to simulate multilayer discontinuous structure irradiated by high energy X-ray, and the results show that the gap between the materials of each layer has a certain influence on the thermal shock wave intensity, but doesn’t have any affect to gasification impulse.
