Abstract:
A method for continuous measurement radon in environment was developed. The method needs to determine the iterative correction factor about the contribution of one measurement to the next. Formulas of the theoretical iterative correction factor were derived and its values were calculated. Then iterative correction factor was measured by the NRL-1 continuous radon monitor based on the method, and the influence factors of measurement results were discussed. The result shows that the values of theoretical calculation are fundamentally consistent with the field measurement results, and the iterative correction factor just depends on the sampling time and measurement cycle.
