Abstract:
The system of 2 MWt fluoride-salt cooled experimental reactor power regulation process was simulated, which used point reactor kinetics model with simplified heat transfer mechanisms and based on the MATLAB/Simulink. The analyses of total reactivity, reactor inlet and outlet temperatures, the heat exchanger secondary side outlet temperature, radiator outlet temperature and a series of related response parameters were carried. The results show that the scheme which regulates power following the load is feasible and effective for 2 MWt fluoride-salt cooled experimental reactor in the protective case.
