Abstract:
A new strategy for the neutronics analysis of the ITER test blanket module based on 3D deterministic method was proposed. It was composed of two steps: Firstly, the module was dissected into individual parts and the 3D modular MOC method were implemented on them to calculate the fine group fluence rate; In the second step, SP3 method was adopted to obtain the fluence rate distribution throughout the whole module. The code based on this new strategy was developed and calculation on the dual-functional lithium lead test blanket module was finished. Main neutronics parameters including the fluence rate distribution and TBR were given and compared to those obtained from MCNP. The results verify the validity of the new strategy and the code.
