西藏地区天然中子能谱测量

Spectrum Measurement of Natural Neutron in Tibet

  • 摘要: 本文采用多球中子谱仪和中子周围剂量当量(率)仪分别对西藏地区的天然中子能谱和周围剂量当量率进行了测量,得到了西藏地区不同海拔处的室外天然中子能谱和周围剂量当量率。研究结果表明:该地区室外天然中子的能谱形状基本保持不变,其各能区的中子注量率随海拔的增加而增大,天然中子的总注量率和有效剂量率及周围剂量当量率均随海拔的增加呈指数规律增大;此外,天然中子的有效剂量率可用中子周围剂量当量(率)仪的测量结果乘以能谱有效剂量转换因子得到。

     

    Abstract: The spectrum and ambient dose equivalent rate of outdoor natural neutron in Tibet were measured by multisphere neutron spectrometer and neutron ambient dose equivalent (rate) meter in this paper, and the spectra and ambient dose equivalent rates of the outdoor natural neutron with different altitudes were acquired. The results indicate that the spectrum shapes of the outdoor natural neutron almost remain unchanged, the fluence rate of each energy range increases with the altitude, and the total fluence rate, effective dose rate and ambient dose equivalent rate increase exponentially with the altitude. The effective dose rate can be acquired from the result of ambient dose equivalent (rate) meter multiplied by the spectrum-effective dose conversion factor.
