Optimal Design of 60 Co Single Source Radiation Facility With Monte Carlo Method

  • 摘要: 参考辐射是辐射剂量监测仪器校准工作必备的条件, 60 Co单源照射装置是产生参考辐射场的重要设备。本文利用蒙特卡罗方法对 60 Co单源照射装置产生的辐射场的均匀性和散射辐射进行模拟计算,完成照射装置中散射腔、准直光阑和快门体等部分的设计并利用PTW电离室对辐射场进行测量。结果表明,辐射场中散射辐射和均匀性与模拟结果符合较好,满足设计要求。

     

    Abstract: Reference radiation is necessary for calibration of radiation dose monitoring meters, and 60 Co single source radiation facility is an important equipment to produce reference radiation field. Monte Carlo method was used to calculate the uniformity and scattered radiation of the reference radiation field which was produced by 60 Co single source radiation facility, and the design of scattered chamber, collimation and shutter was accomplished. PTW ionization chamber was used to measure the radiation field, and the results show that the scattered radiation and uniformity of the radiation field are in good agreement with the simulation results. The radiation performances meet the design requirements.
