Abstract:
In this paper the trend of the development for the accelerator control system was introduced. According to requirements of the high-bandwidth and the low-delay from future control systems, EPICS based on MicroTCA was studied, and a prototype system based on MicroTCA and EPICS was setup. The prototype system includes hardware setup, development of the device driver under Linux, EPICS device supports and realtime database. In addition, OPI based on CSS was also developed. The performance of the prototype system was tested. The result lays a foundation for the future practical application.
