Abstract:
Two fluid model combing with inter-phase heat and mass transfer model, inter-phase momentum transfer model, and RPI wall boiling model was applied to solve the local flow and heat transfer of subcooled flow boiling in the secondary side of SG tubes by using commercial CFD code ANSYS CFX 12.0. The numerical calculation results were validated by experimental data and calculation results. The results show that adopting RPI wall boiling model can predict the onset of subcooled flow boiling accurately, meanwhile the existence of orifice plate has a great effect on the flow and heat transfer characteristics of the secondary side.
