Mechanical Correction of Frequency for Copper Base of Nb Sputtered QWR Cavity

摘要: 对QWR铜铌溅射超导腔铜基进行频率修正时,需考虑温度导致的频率变化。本工作研究了铜基频率随温度的变化,并在液氮温度下进行实验验证,在此基础上确定了铜基频率的修正工艺。实验结果表明,150 MHz的QWR铜铌溅射超导腔修正后的频率与预期频率误差在2 kHz以内。Abstract: Mechanical correction of frequency for copper base of Nb sputtered QWR cavitiy needs to take the change of frequency of cavity with temperature into account. The relationship between temperature and frequency of Nb sputtered QWR cavity was studied and verified at liquid nitrogen temperature, meanwhile the procedure of mechanical correction was optimized. The results show that final frequency error is controlled under 2 kHz for a 150 MHz Nb sputtered QWR cavity.
