Analysis on EPR Nuclear Power Plant Radioactive Gas Movement and Delay Status Before Release

  • 摘要: 以EPR堆型为基础,建立堆芯裂变产生的放射性惰性气体在废气管理系统中运动的模型,以1个换料周期为时长,计算系统吹扫单元和滞留单元两个主要结构部分在两类模式,即稳态运行模式和波动运行模式,以及28类工况下,气体运动的起止时刻、流量等参数,重点分析Kr和Xe等放射性核素经由活性炭的延迟滞留状态,并推导出关键核素在系统内的停留时间。同时,结合系统参数及衰变方程推导出释放的活度流量。该计算方法和结果为分析EPR气态流出物是否满足国家法规标准要求奠定理论基础。

     

    Abstract: Based on radioactive inert gas movement model in gaseous waste management system of EPR reactor type, calculation on the gas movement duration and flow rate parameters were carried out during 1 refueling cycle, regarding to two kinds of system operation modes for the main configurations of purge unit and delay unit. One was steady mode, and the other one was purge gas mode, as well that 28 operation cases of the units were analyzed one by one for the same purpose. The key point of the calculation is to give a result of Kr and Xe delay status during passing the delay unit and to deduce the delay time of the key isotopes. Meanwhile, by combining the system parameters and decay equation, the activity flow rate was finally determined. The methodology and the result will be used as a theoretical basement for the proof of conformance with the Chinese regulatory request.
