Validation Test of Safety Rod Drive Mechanism for CARR

摘要: 中国先进研究堆安全棒由水力驱动,最初设计制造的驱动机构存在较多问题,验证试验中发生多次卡棒。本工作对安全棒驱动机构的设计和制造工艺进行了一系列改进,并制造了两套驱动机构,对其进行调试。新的安全棒驱动机构调试结果表明,所作改进对提高驱动机构性能是有效的。Abstract: The safety rods of China Advanced Research Reactor (CARR) are driven by the hydraulic force. The test showed that a series of problems for the earliest fabricated 2 sets of the drive mechanisms were found in the aspects of the design and the fabrication, so many times of the stuck rods were happened during the out of pile test. Through the improvement of the design and fabrication, the validation test indicates that the performance of 2 sets of new drive mechanisms is very good.
