Abstract:
The main function of the intense-beam proton accelerator in accelerator driven sub-critical system (ADS), which was also called ADS injector Ⅱ, was trying to produce continuous intense proton beam. The remote adjustment of the accelerator device’s parameters and monitoring of working status should be implemented by the control system. The whole control system was based on the distributed control software EPICS. In order to implement data sharing and information communication among every software development platform of sub-system, the transparent data access among every system was implemented by using the EPICS software architecture, shared memories, channel access interfaces and CA Lab. The ability of the system remote diagnosis and centralized control of upper control software was also improved by these technologies. The results indicate that the whole platform is running reliably, stably, and perfectly meets the beam adjustment and operation requirements of injector Ⅱ.
