铀部件自吸收对寿命估算的影响

摘要: 在核弹头核查认证过程中,认证核材料寿命一致是确认某核部件为宣称部件时非常重要的标准之一,利用特征γ射线分析铀材料寿命是一种被广泛研究的方法。本文通过对利用数值模拟结果的分析,研究了部件自吸收效应对利用特征γ射线强度估算铀材料寿命的影响。研究结果表明,利用210Tl特征γ射线对出射γ射线定标的方法可降低部件自吸收效应对寿命计算的影响。Abstract: The age of uranium object is one of the most important attributes in confirming that a nuclear component being inspected is the declared one. Based on the simulations, the effect of self-absorption on uranium age estimation was analyzed. The results indicate that it is possible to reduce the influence of the self-absorption by recalibration with the characteristic γ-rays of 210Tl.
