Abstract:
The quantum-dot-array diffraction grating (QDADG) with single order diffraction properties is a perfect dispersive element for laser plasmas diagnosis. The basic concept and fabrication of QDADG were introduced. The numerical simulation results of QDADG were presented using Fourier optical theory. It shows that this element suppresses all of the high order diffraction, which solves the key problem (distortion from high order diffraction) of the present transmission grating spectroscopy. The simulation results accord well with the experimental data.
