Abstract:
Characteristics of local parameters of bubbly flow were investigated in rectangular channel (40 mm×3 mm) under inclined and rolling conditions. Under vertical condition, the distribution type ‘wall peak’ and ‘core peak’ are observed, and ‘core peak’ exists when the liquid superficial velocity is low and the gas superficial velocity is high. Under inclined condition, the peaks of two distribution types get strengthened at the top of the channel, and weakened at the bottom. Under rolling condition, the peaks of two distribution types get strengthened compared with the same angle under inclined condition when the angle is getting larger. The influence from rolling motion gets stronger on the peak of two distribution types when the rolling movement is more violent.
