Abstract:
The phenomenon of the film drops produced by the single bubble bursting at a free water surface was researched. The rice paper cylinder, which was made under special technique process and did not soak the ink at the surface, was used to conduct the space distribution experiment of the film drops produced by bubble bursting in the ink water. The size and space distributions of film drops on the different radius cylinders were obtained by scanning the picture and using the image processing code programmed in Matlab. With experiment conditions changing, the impact of the bubble size and the radius of the rice paper cylinder on space distributions of film drops was discussed. The rule of the space distribution of film drops produced by single bubble bursting at a free water surface was obtained under the normal temperature and pressure condition.
