CARR辐照生产同位素14C的靶件传热安全研究

Research on Target Heat Transfer Safety for Producing 14C in CARR

  • 摘要: 放射性同位素14C主要通过堆内辐照高纯AlN粉末靶材生产,靶件在辐照过程中的发热是影响靶件安全的主要因素。本文使用MCNP、RELAP5对核发热和靶件表面温度等参数进行模拟计算,并与实验数据进行比较。结果表明,靶件在堆内辐照过程是安全可控的。

     

    Abstract: The radioisotope 14C is produced mainly by the irradiation of high-purity AlN powder targets in nuclear reactors, and the generation of heat during the exposure is the main factor which may compromise the target safety. In this paper, the nuclear heat and surface temperature of target were given by analog computation using MCNP and RELAP5. Calculated values of these parameters were then compared with the experimental data. The results show that targets during the exposure in nuclear reactors are safe and controllable.
