波形比较法测量MCP-PMT对强窄脉冲的线性输出

Measurement of MCP-PMT’s Linear Output for Narrow Intensive Pulse Based on Waveform Comparison Method

  • 摘要: MCP-PMT的线性输出常用线性输出电流表示,其依赖于输入信号分布。通过波形比较法,测量MCP-PMT的线性输出电荷,以得到与输入波形无关的物理量。通过20 ns和10 ns两种不同脉宽输入波形进行实验,获得了MCP-PMT的增益降低10%时的输出电荷,两种脉宽情况下的结果基本一致。

     

    Abstract: The MCP-PMT’s linear output was always described by the linear current which depends on the input pulse shape. A new parameter called linear output charge which doesn’t depend on the input pulse shape was measured by waveform comparison method. Two types of laser pulses with FWHM of 20 ns and 10 ns, respectively, were used in the experiment. The linear output charge of MCP-PMT was obtained when its gain decreases by 10%, and both results are consistent.
