采用凝胶注模成型工艺研制Al2O3-B4C环形芯块

Study on Preparation Process of Al2O3-B4C Annular Pellet by Gel Casting

  • 摘要: 凝胶注模成型是一种原位成型工艺,是制备复杂形状的陶瓷部件的理想工艺。本文采用凝胶注模成型工艺制备Al2O3-B4C环形芯块,主要研究了高固相、低黏度陶瓷浆料的制备,胶凝成型,Al2O3-B4C材料的烧结致密化等。结果表明:实验制备的Al2O3-B4C环形芯块的壁厚为1 mm左右,B4C含量在0.5%~12%之间,芯块的烧结密度在65%TD~93%TD之间。Al2O3-B4C环形芯块满足压水堆可燃毒物材料设计的要求。

     

    Abstract: Gel casting is a kind of in-situ forming process, which is the ideal process for the preparation of complicated shape ceramic part. In this paper, the Al2O3-B4C annular pellet was prepared by gel casting process, and the preparation of ceramic slurry with high solid loading and low viscosity, gel casting and sintering of Al2O3-B4C material were researched.The results show that thickness of Al2O3-B4C annular pellet is around 1 mm, the content of B4C is between 0.5%-12%, and sintering density is between 65%TD-93%TD. The Al2O3-B4C annular pellet meets the design requirement of fuel with burnable poison for pressurized water reactor.
