单侧部分开口方腔自然对流数值模拟

Numerical Simulation of Natural Convection in One Side Partial Open Square Cavity

  • 摘要: 为研究开口度对自然对流和传热的影响,采用有限容积法对单侧部分开口(2个开口)方腔自然对流进行了二维层流稳态数值模拟。计算结果表明:Ra和开口度的改变对方腔内的温度场分布和涡流结构有显著影响。相同开口度下,平均Nu和无量纲流量随Ra的增加而增加;相同Ra下,无量纲流量随开口度的增加而增加。当Ra>104,可能存在最佳开口度,此时平均Nu取得最大值。

     

    Abstract: In order to study the effect of opening on the natural convection and heat transfer, the finite volume method was applied to conduct numerical simulation of a two-dimension laminar steady-state natural convection in open square cavity with two slots on one side. The calculation results show that the Ra and opening have the great effect on temperature field distribution and vortex structure in square cavity. In the same opening, the average Nu and dimensionless flow rate increase with Ra. Under the same Ra, the dimensionless flow rate increases with opening. There should be an optimum opening at Ra >104 when the average Nu is maximum value.
