Abstract:
The γ-ray total absorption BaF
2 facility was designed to measure the cross-section of neutron radiative capture reaction by online method. The data acquisition system was developed based on flash analog-to-digital converter with an ability of digital waveform acquisition. The trigger system, in which the coincidence measurement technology between multi-channel and multi-parameter was applied, was used to control the data acquisition so as to suppress most of background event, by triggering the data acquisition system. In this paper, the circuit design and experimental test of the trigger system were described.
