Abstract:
During the process of measuring the sample activity with a spectrometer, the accurate calibration of detection efficiency curve of the spectrometer system is the accurate and reliable prerequisite for measurement results. During the liquid effluent monitoring of nuclear facility, the sample is liquid sealed inside the tubes. Due to diverse radionuclide species and short half-life of some radionuclides, the feasibility of making a standard liquid source for the calibration of the detector system is low. This paper aims to discuss some calibration methods for nuclear facility non-intrusive liquid effluent monitor, such as standardized liquid source method, numerical integration method and representative point method. The standard liquid source method as the primary method was selected, and the representative point method and experimental method were conducted at the same time. Comparing relative deviation and uncertainty of the three methods, it is found that the representative point method can be used as an effective calibration method.
