Abstract:
For the development of pulsed neutron detectors, a batch test of the homemade GDB-235 PMTs was carried out. Using relative measurement method, the distribution of the PMTs’ anode sensitivities was obtained. In order to assess the applicability of the PMT to extreme temperature, high and low temperatures storage test was carried out and the statistical law of the PMTs’ sensitivity change rates was obtained. By using the Lissajous figure method, it is shown that the average of the maximum linear output voltage of the PMTs is 369.9 mV, which can meet the requirements of the pulsed neutron detector.
