严重事故情况下环形燃料堆芯氢气产量分析

Analysis of Hydrogen Product for Reactor Core Loaded Annular Fuel in Severe Accident Condition

  • 摘要: 秦山Ⅱ期核电站反应堆堆芯采用环形燃料后,锆装量将增加约88%,在严重事故情况下,堆芯氢气产量的变化是一值得关注的问题。利用MELCOR程序模拟环形燃料堆芯,建立典型严重事故序列分析模型,分析结果表明:在堆芯熔化过程中,与传统棒状燃料堆芯相比,环形燃料堆芯氢气产量没有明显增加,使用环形燃料还能推迟事故进程,缓解事故后果。核电站采用环形燃料,不会增大氢气燃烧的风险。

     

    Abstract: The zirconium amount will increase about 88% if the internally and externally cooled annular fuel is loaded in the core of Qinshan-Ⅱ NPP (Nuclear Power Plant). The total amount of hydrogen production during core melt in severe accident condition will become an issue. The core with annular fuel was simulated by using MELCOR code. The analysis of station blackout accident respectively for core with annular fuel and core with traditional solid fuel shows that the hydrogen production of core with annular fuel does not sharply increase compared with that of core with traditional solid fuel, and the accident progresses are obviously delayed. In a word, adopting annular fuel in NPP will not increase the risk of hydrogen burning in severe accident condition.
