非准直中子场能谱测量用多测量面3He探测器理论设计

Theoretical Design of Multi-facet 3He Detector for Measurement of Uncollimated Neutron Field

  • 摘要: 利用Geant4软件模拟计算了5种具有较好对称性的多测量面结构探测器对不同方向入射中子的探测效率。计算结果表明,具有对称性的多测量面结构探测器对不同方向入射的中子具有较好的探测效率响应方向一致性。其中球形正比探测器加6只圆形半导体探测器的结构芯体在各方面表现最均衡,具有应用于非准直中子场能谱测量的潜力。

     

    Abstract: The detection efficiency of five kinds of symmetric multi-facet detectors for neutrons with various incident angles was calculated by the Geant4 code. The calculation results indicate that the efficiency of the detector with symmetric multi-facet structure shows good consistency for neutrons with different incident directions. The spherical proportional detector attached with six circular semiconductor detectors has the most balanced performance in all aspects, thus has the potential to apply in the spectrum measurement of uncollimated neutron field.
