Abstract:
In order to test the experimental ability and data reliability of Beijing HI-13 tandem accelerator, the single event effect (SEE) calibration experiment was carried out using ESA single event upset (SEU) monitor, which is an international accepted beam diagnosis system. C, F, Cl and Cu ions were used in this experiment. The SEU cross-section was measured over an effective LET range of 1.8-67.4 MeV•cm
2•mg
-1 by changing the incident angle of ions to vary LET of ions. Experiment data are consistent very well with those by Belgium HIF and Finland RADEF, and this confirms the veracity of the measured beam parameter and reliability of SEE cross-section data on the Beijing HI-13 tandem accelerator.
