Abstract:
A separative power on-line monitor system at gas centrifuge enrichment plant was developed including two
235U enrichment monitors and one uranium hexafluoride flow-meter, and a set of corresponding software was developed. The enrichment of UF
6 flowing through the processing pipes in uranium enrichment plant was measured by enrichment monitors. The UF
6 gas flow rate in production pipes was measured by the orifice flow-meter. Finally, the separative power was calculated by
235U enrichment and UF
6 gas flow rate in the pipes. The results show that the maximum relative standard deviation between monitoring result and declaration value is less than 2.0%.
