Calculation of Electric Field for Multi-wire Ionization Chamber Using Finite Element Method

  • 摘要: 本文采用基于有限元方法的ANSYS软件模拟计算了不同几何结构和极间偏压下多丝电离室腔室中的电场强度分布,研究了丝半径、丝间距、极间距和极间偏压变化对电离室电场的影响。结果表明,减小丝半径、丝间距、极间偏压和增大极间距可有效减小电离室中电场强度的变化幅度,从而获得稳定的电场。

     

    Abstract: In this paper, the ANSYS software based on the finite element method was introduced to calculate the distribution of electric field intensity in multi-wire ionization chamber with different models and voltages. Furthermore, the influences induced by the radius size of wire, distance between anode and cathode, distance between wires, and voltage on ionization chamber electric field were also specified. The results indicate that the fluctuation of electric field intensity in the ionization chamber can decrease by decreasing the radius size of wire, distance between wires and voltage and increasing distance between anode and cathode, which is helpful to obtain stable electric field.
