Abstract:
The R-matrix theory is very important in the study of astrophysically nuclear reactions. Many codes have been written to implement the mathematics based on this theory. DREAM code makes use of visual Basic macros. AZURE2 code, a more improved user interface tool has recently become available using C++ program. In order to check the fits of different R-matrix tools, DREAM and AZURE2 codes were applied to the data of
12C(p,p)
12C and
21Na(p,p)
21Na, respectively. The extracted parameters were compared. These two codes are shown to be broadly consistent and can be used to cross-check each other.
