Abstract:
In this paper, a simultaneous and rapid analysis method of 89Sr and
90Sr was established by proportional counter to measure twice after separation using Sr specific resin. The effects of
90Y growth factor and
89Sr/
90Sr activity ratio on the measured values of 89Sr and
90Sr were studied. The results show that increasing
90Y growth factor is more conducive to obtain the activities of
89Sr and
90Sr. This method was applied to the analysis of
89Sr and
90Sr in samples with
89Sr/
90Sr activity ratio ranging from 0.22 to 21.8, and the relative deviation between the measured value and the standard value is less than ±30%. The uncertainty analysis shows that the uncertainty of one nuclide will increase with activity ratio or activity of another nuclide. The maximum relative deviation of
89Sr and
90Sr between the measured value and the standard value is 7.44%, which proves the accuracy of this method by the analysis of IAEA proficiency test samples.
