Abstract:
To verify the anti-seismic performance of China Experimental Fast Reactor (CEFR) fuel subassembly and to ensure structural integrity and fuel rod sealing under earthquakes, it is necessary to develop an anti-seismic test method that can reflect the representativeness and meanwhile the envelopment of the entire core seismic response. Based on the analysis of the Russian vibration resistance test program, meanwhile considering the domestic test regulation and the actual core constraint condition, an anti-seismic test method was proposed. The rationality of the new method was verified through simulation calculations. The results show that the test results of the new method should be conservative, which ensures that the stress and shock response of a single fuel subassembly under the same seismic input can basically envelope the response of each fuel subassembly located in the core subassembly array. The new method requires a single fuel subassembly to complete the anti-seismic test on the rigid bench and flexible bench respectively. This study will serve as a good reference guide for the anti-seismic test studies of fast reactor core subassembly.
