Abstract:
Based on the SR11 case of STORM test in ISP40 report, the applicability of the resuspension model in GASFLOW was evaluated. According to the relationship between the air velocity and the minimum particle size of resuspension reflected in the test data, the resuspension model in GASFLOW was improved. The results show that there is a significant gap between the analysis results of the original resuspension model of GASFLOW and the SR11 case results. The improved model is more consistent with the test results in both the change trend and the numerical value, and ensures the conservative estimation of the source terms. Considering that there is a significant difference between the STORM test and the actual conditions in containment environment under the severe accidents, it is suggested to carry out tests closer to actual conditions, in order to improve the accuracy of the resuspension model analysis.
