Abstract:
Heat pipe reactor has the advantages of small size, simple structure and high inherent safety, which has a wide application prospect and research significance. In this paper, CFD method was used to analyze the thermal-hydraulic characteristics of a heat pipe reactor simulator device under steady state conditions, and the results were compared with the experimental results. The results show that the relative temperature error of each measuring point of the heat pipe is less than 5.5%, and the relative temperature error of each measuring point at the hot end of the thermoelectric generator is less than 3.1%. This study provides theoretical guidance and method support for numerical simulation of heat pipe reactor.
