Abstract:
To promote the production and the clinical translation of solid target metal radionuclides, and further develop its clinical application advantages, based on the medical cyclotron, the arrangement for preparation site and radiation protection scheme were designed, and the characteristics of solid target metal radionuclides and their production implementation schemes were analyzed in Peking Union Medical College Hospital. The results demonstrate that the design and the arrangement for the preparation site are complete and reasonable, which can be used to investigate the production of
64Cu,
89Zr and
44Sc. These solid target metal radionuclides have favorable physical properties and extensive clinical applications. Their clinical applications are expected to be expanded, as a result, the innovative treatment and the integration of diagnosis and therapy could be promoted. The results of recent study can provide some references for the production and the clinical application of solid target metal radionuclides in medical institutions.
